About the Role
The role covers the full project lifecycle, requiring thorough knowledge of electrical, HVAC, fire alarm, plumbing and fire‑fighting systems. Responsibilities include supporting technical design briefs, analysing designs, coordinating with vendors, reviewing MEP specifications, leading a team, supervising onsite MEP construction, and ensuring cost control and timely completion. The candidate will coordinate electro‑mechanical activities with clients, consultants, suppliers, site engineers and subcontractors, prepare variation orders, negotiate with subcontractors and clients, and provide clear interpretations of plans, scope, detail sheets and specifications to MEP contractors. • Manage full MEP project lifecycle, including design, coordination, and onsite supervision. • Review and redesign MEP drawings, material schedules, and specifications; ensure cost control and timely delivery. • Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors. • Conduct technical and commercial negotiations, prepare variation orders, and ensure compliance with contracts. • Apply sustainability principles, including LEED and related concepts, throughout project execution. • Adhere to the company’s global environmental policy.

What You Bring
All work must adhere to Turner & Townsend’s global environmental policy. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or diploma) is required; a postgraduate qualification is advantageous. Minimum 10 years of post‑qualification experience in a construction consultancy in India, strong technical skills, and excellent verbal and written English are essential. • Hold an Electrical Engineering degree (B.E/B.Tech) or diploma; postgraduate qualification preferred. • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction consultancy in India with strong technical expertise. • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
