About the Role

The Low Voltage Technician position is responsible for performing a wide range of tasks in a team or individual capacity for industrial and commercial clients. • Install and terminate copper and fiber optic cabling, including CAT3‑CAT6a, COAX, speaker and control wire. • Perform equipment rack, jack, connector, lighting, mechanical and BAS system installations. • Route cables through ceilings, conduits, raised floors, walls and modular furniture. • Test and document cable performance using specialized test equipment. • Terminate and dress communications closets following BICSI procedures. • Read and interpret floor plans to guide cabling layouts. • Troubleshoot and resolve low‑voltage system issues on site. • Contribute to process improvement and technical documentation. • Operate safely in dusty, noisy, high‑place, confined‑space and adverse weather conditions. • Follow all company safety policies and actively halt work if unsafe conditions arise.

What You Bring

• Hold NICET Certification (required) and maintain cabling standards. • Work independently or within a team under indirect or direct supervision. • Possess 3‑10 years HVAC service experience and appropriate refrigeration licenses (Class A, Journeyman, or apprenticeship enrollment). • Exercise judgment and initiative in problem‑solving and crew supervision. • Lift, move and carry up to 50 lb and use trade tools proficiently.
