About the Role

The Executive Director reports to the Regional Director of Operations and is an exempt, salaried position with a compensation range of $130,000 to $140,000 annually. This role oversees overall management and day-to-day operations of the community, including revenue generation, staff development, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and safety, and strives to create a resident-focused culture. • Develop and execute business strategy to meet operational and financial targets. • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations. • Lead communication, model behavior, and maintain attention to resident care. • Foster positive engagement among residents, families, and staff through an open-door culture. • Set quality-assurance standards and uphold state and policy compliance. • Manage community finances, including budgeting and expense control. • Perform HR functions: recruit, develop, and discipline associates. • Direct sales and marketing to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. • Serve as Manager on Duty for occasional weekend coverage.

What You Bring

The position requires a college degree and an administrator’s license or certification as required by state (CALA), along with demonstrated leadership experience in health‑care, expense management, and preferably sales or business development. Strong written and verbal communication, team‑leadership abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential, as is the physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform resident assistance using proper body mechanics.
