About the Role
The role is a Software Engineer with AWS development experience, supporting key initiatives that defend against emerging cybersecurity threats. The engineer will work with a team of experts to develop and tailor cutting‑edge capabilities that protect critical U.S. systems. • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex software systems. • Lead peer reviews to ensure timely delivery and compliance with requirements. • Collaborate with extended teams to define system architectures meeting information‑protection needs. • Gather software requirements from mission customers and systems engineers, defining capabilities and interfaces. • Build intuitive user interfaces and dashboards to improve operational efficiency. • Implement documentation and development standards aligned with industry best practices. • Research and recommend new technologies to drive innovation in software projects. • Participate actively in agile scrum cycles, including design sessions, testing, and documentation.

What You Bring
• Possess a B.S. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field. • 7‑10 years of software engineering experience with high‑performance ingest and data transformation. • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on production AWS experience, including VPC design, IAM, networking, and managed services (ECS, Fargate, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3). • Proficiency with Linux, Python, SQL, JavaScript, Elastic Search, Dagster, Docker, and relational databases. • Experience migrating workloads from containerized or on‑prem environments to AWS. • Familiarity with threat‑intelligence generation and knowledge‑management automation in an IC agency context. • Strong adaptability, communication, and automation skills; knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for mission‑critical systems. • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
