About the Role
The Field Engineer role is responsible for the on‑site commissioning of building automation systems tailored to each customer. The position requires self‑motivation, attention to detail, and a customer‑focused attitude, as well as the ability to solve complex technical problems and mentor less experienced engineers. • Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems using Direct Digital Control technology • Serve as local technical contact and field leader • Provide turnkey delivery for small‑to‑medium projects • Ensure proper operation of controls, sensors, and software, including loading software and configuring trends, alarms, and reports • Implement time‑management strategies to maintain customer satisfaction • Document and communicate project status to customers • Deliver site‑specific training to owners/operators on the complete system

What You Bring
• High School Diploma or GED required • Minimum 2 years experience in building automation, HVAC, or related technical field • Ability to climb ladders or use lift equipment over 8 feet and lift up to 50 lb • Valid, insurable driver’s license • Associate or bachelor’s degree, or technical certificate in HVAC, controls, or related field preferred • Experience with building automation software such as WebCTRL and complex control installations • Knowledge of TCP/IP networks and wireless technology • Ability to convey technical information to non‑technical audiences • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications

Benefits
Compensation ranges from $66,250 to $92,750 annually, with factors such as skills, education, and experience influencing the final salary.
