About the Role
The senior engineer will lead and coordinate all stages of electrical design and delivery, from concept through detailed design to construction support. They will prepare high‑quality design documentation for medium to large building services and infrastructure projects, provide technical leadership to designers and junior engineers, and develop and review tender submissions and technical proposals. In addition, the role requires delivering projects on strict timeframes and budgets, building strong relationships with internal teams, clients and partners, and championing KBR’s Zero Harm safety culture. • Lead and coordinate electrical design from concept through construction support. • Prepare high‑quality design documentation for medium to large building services and infrastructure projects. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to designers and junior engineers. • Develop and review tender submissions and technical proposals. • Deliver projects on time and within budget while meeting KBR quality standards. • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and partners. • Champion KBR’s Zero Harm safety culture.

What You Bring
The company is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Victorian team. The role offers the chance to work on a diverse pipeline of long‑term transport sector projects in a dynamic, high‑pressure environment. The ideal candidate is a driven engineer with strong experience in building services or infrastructure electrical design, who enjoys collaborative problem‑solving and making impactful engineering outcomes. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline), at least five years of consultancy experience, and professional recognition such as CPEng or NER. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder management and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline). • Possess 5+ years of engineering consultancy experience. • Be recognized as a professional engineer (e.g., CPEng, NER, or equivalent). • Demonstrate strong communication, stakeholder management, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
