About the Role

The role requires delivering projects on schedule, within budget and to high‑quality standards in a Defence environment, while fostering collaboration with internal teams and industry partners. You will also be responsible for issue management, decision‑making, risk evaluation and mitigation, as well as overseeing technical and quality‑assurance activities related to design and safety analysis. Mentorship is a key component; you will support staff development in major infrastructure delivery and may need to travel overnight to project sites as required. • Deliver EWP projects on schedule, within budget and to high‑quality standards in a Defence setting. • Foster collaboration across internal project teams and external delivery partners. • Proactively manage issues, drive decisions and lead resolution pathways. • Evaluate and mitigate risks for Defence clients. • Oversee technical and quality‑assurance activities for design and safety analysis of Defence infrastructure. • Mentor staff developing expertise in major infrastructure projects. • Undertake overnight travel to project locations as needed. • Lead project delivery in building services, infrastructure, refurbishment, civil or maritime sectors (Defence experience preferred).

What You Bring

Candidates should have proven experience leading project delivery in building services, infrastructure, refurbishment, civil or maritime sectors, with Defence experience preferred, and hold relevant tertiary qualifications in project management or engineering where possible. Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain a baseline security clearance are essential. • Hold relevant tertiary qualification in project management or engineering (desirable). • Be an Australian citizen able to obtain a baseline security clearance.
