About the Role
The Mechanic position is responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet that typically includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and specialty equipment such as generators, pumps, HVAC and oil‑&‑gas gear. Work is performed safely and efficiently to minimize downtime, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. • Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management • Work with a safety‑focused team • Provide own mechanic tools if required • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on aerial platforms, construction tools, generators, pumps, HVAC, etc.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with trade‑school training considered an asset. Three to five years of experience servicing diesel, heavy‑equipment or specialty‑line machinery is strongly preferred. Applicants may need to supply their own mechanic tools. Key technical skills include advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot both. Bilingual ability (Spanish or other) may be required depending on location needs. The role is physically demanding, requiring bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 lb or more, as well as occasional indoor and outdoor work. Compensation ranges from $21.38 to $29.39 hourly, based on factors such as location, education, and experience.
