About the Role

The Driver/Operator safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes, following OSHA, DOT and company standards. Daily tasks include vehicle inspections, reporting unsafe conditions, and collaborating with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address customer needs. • Operate heavy‑duty truck in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using DVIR and document any issues. • Immediately report unsafe situations, service calls, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address problem or unsafe accounts. • Assist other company drivers and follow all assigned duties from Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Dump containers, clean the site, and position containers correctly to avoid blocking driveways or traffic. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage and finalize documentation at route end.

What You Bring

No formal education or prior experience is required, but a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL‑B) and a minimum age of 18 are mandatory. Candidates must pass a pre‑employment drug screen, physical exam, and maintain an acceptable driving record.
