About the Role

The Senior Lead Software Engineer is responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of critical manufacturing applications, ensuring reliability, performance, and continuous improvement across production, new product introduction, and return/repair processes. This leadership role provides technical guidance while actively contributing to software solutions that support operational excellence and product quality, including ANSI meter calibration and testing integration. • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers. • Oversee design, development, and maintenance of manufacturing software applications. • Guide the team in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting database queries. • Manage version control best practices to ensure code integrity and collaboration. • Direct end‑to‑end testing processes to validate functionality and quality. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using user feedback and emerging technologies. • Collaborate with product engineering, technicians, IT, and operations to meet quality and compliance standards. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex meter configuration and data issues. • Architected software for automated manufacturing test stations, calibration, and device provisioning.

What You Bring

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. • Possess at least 5 years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role. • Demonstrate strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, Java, or Python. • Experience designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting database queries. • Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment methodologies. • Familiarity with server, networking, and cloud infrastructure, including production debugging. • Experience with Azure cloud platforms and secure manufacturing software systems. • Worked with ERP systems like SAP and Product Lifecycle/Engineering Change tools such as Autodesk Fusion. • Integrated third‑party APIs with in‑house applications. • Trained in process improvement or lean manufacturing principles.
