About the Role
The Porter/Yard Worker (Yard Associate) is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on site, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, and servicing equipment to meet specifications. The role also includes inspecting equipment before and after rentals to document any loss or damage. Physical demands involve bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, both indoors and outdoors as required. • Advance into mechanic, driver, or customer service roles. • Communicate effectively with customers, both written and oral. • Maintain a safety‑focused mindset.

What You Bring
• Possess a high school diploma or GED (preferred). • Have experience with common construction and industrial tools (preferred). • Receive training or experience in mechanical equipment repair (preferred). • Perform basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide). • Use Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.). • Demonstrate general mechanical aptitude. • Be bilingual in Spanish or another language as required.

Base pay ranges from $19.85 to $27.30 per hour, with the exact rate depending on location, education, training, and experience. Related experience may include positions such as Porter Hostler, Yard Hand, Yard Jockey, Entry‑Level Mechanic, Forklift Driver, or Warehouse Worker, among others.
