About the Role
We are currently seeking a Project Controls Senior Manager for our New York, NY office. The role will lead project‑controls efforts, support clients and internal teams, and help expand AECOM’s control services across projects and programs. The manager will advise clients on scheduling, cost, earned‑value, risk and delay‑claim issues, oversee a team of project‑controls professionals, and coordinate the development and implementation of control standards with key stakeholders. He/she will also craft technical proposals for RFPs and provide hands‑on controls support on a variety of projects. • Advise client and management on CPM scheduling, cost, Earned Value, PMIS, document control, risk and delay‑claim issues, recommending corrective actions. • Oversee project controls professionals assigned to multiple projects and programs. • Coordinate with AECOM stakeholders to develop and implement project‑control standards, procedures and protocols. • Create technical write‑ups and cost proposals for RFPs targeting state, federal and private clients. • Deliver hands‑on project controls services across various projects and programs. • Provide direction and guidance to team members on implementing and expanding AECOM’s project control services.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a BA/BS and bring at least ten years of relevant experience, including two years in a leadership role. Preferred qualifications include strong written and verbal communication, problem‑solving and negotiation skills, proven project‑management experience, familiarity with alternative delivery methods, and experience working with New York City public agencies. • Hold a BA/BS degree with at least ten years of relevant experience, including two years of leadership. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. • Exhibit solid problem‑solving and negotiation abilities. • Possess experience managing projects, including alternative delivery methods. • Have experience working with New York City public agencies.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $170,000 to $240,000 annually, and the role is on‑site at 605 Third Ave, New York, NY.
