About the Role

The Maintenance Assistant supports residents by ensuring quality move‑ins, resident satisfaction, and prompt service, helping Cushman & Wakefield deliver superior customer service. The role operates within a professional office setting, using standard office equipment and regularly traveling between properties, often in varying weather conditions. • Prepare market‑ready apartments (paint, carpet repair, cleaning, minor repairs, housekeeping) to ensure quality move‑in experiences. • Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests. • Perform basic maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal as needed. • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and operation of grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities. • Report maintenance concerns in vacant units, model homes, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor. • Complete scheduled maintenance assignments as directed by the supervisor. • Follow state, local, and federal fair‑housing laws and all safety policies and procedures. • Attend required training programs and represent the company professionally at all times. • Dress according to company appearance standards and safeguard all tools and equipment. • Write routine reports and correspondence; read and interpret manuals, policies, and diagrams. • Apply common‑sense judgment to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and resolve routine problems. • Safely lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb frequently and work in various physical positions (standing, sitting, climbing stairs).

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a high school diploma, GED, or relevant trade/technical education, possess related experience, and have certifications such as EPA 608 Type II, CPO, or local equivalents. • Possess a valid driver’s license and basic math skills for calculations and measurements.

Benefits
