About the Role
Associa is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its community association management team. This role involves cleaning, maintaining, and repairing building fixtures such as lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, flooring, gutters, and drains, as well as handling carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs to ensure safe and proper building upkeep. Key duties include performing routine preventive maintenance to keep building systems operating efficiently and prevent deterioration, cleaning and repairing various fixtures, and operating and servicing HVAC equipment. • Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems. • Carry out carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs. • Clean and repair fixtures such as lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains. • Operate and maintain HVAC equipment. • Communicate professionally with customers and team members.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of general maintenance documentation, safety regulations, and reporting requirements, as well as familiarity with electrical and plumbing codes, OSHA standards, and local governmental safety rules. Strong professional communication and customer service skills, the ability to interpret verbal and written instructions, and proficiency with company policies and forms are essential. Candidates must be self‑motivated, proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work well in a team, with effective time‑management and prioritization abilities. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with three to five years of directly related experience. • Apply knowledge of general maintenance, OSHA, and local safety regulations. • Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment. • Hold a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of related experience.
