About the Role
• Inspect on‑site works and ensure compliance with design drawings and quality standards. • Produce and deliver reliable solutions, reports, specifications, and drawings on schedule. • Manage tasks, resources, scope, programme, and budget throughout the project. • Provide structural technical support and maintain accuracy of project delivery. • Present technical and design concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. • Review shop drawings, material submittals, and verify compliance with project guidelines. • Respond to contractor queries, review construction issue drawings, and manage RFI processes. • Coordinate between design office, contractor, and client, ensuring effective information sharing. • Monitor and report on environmental, safety, and quality performance, raising non‑conformance reports as needed. • Ensure structural works are constructed in accordance with contract requirements. • Maintain and enhance client relationships and the firm’s reputation.

What You Bring
The role requires experience guiding project teams on building structures, including concrete and steel systems, and combines managerial competencies with technical responsibilities. The successful candidate will promote collaboration and inspire delivery of projects to the required quality, budget, and schedule. The position seeks engineers with solid expertise in building structures and a proven record of successful project delivery. Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering; chartered status is a plus. • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering building structure projects, including steel structures. • Proven ability to plan, monitor, and control project programmes, costs, and resources. • Strong communication skills in English and a confident, proactive character. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and lead in challenging situations.
