About the Role

The consultant’s day includes walking the marketing tour path, opening and preparing target apartments, and ensuring clean, rent‑ready units and amenities, while responding promptly to calls and emails. They convert inbound calls into walk‑in traffic, schedule viewings, tour prospects enthusiastically, and guide applicants through the leasing process, including immediate application review and respectful communication of results. Additional duties involve following the Weidner Move‑In Experience, maintaining traffic queues, and monitoring competitive properties monthly to inform daily marketing and leasing tactics. • Walk marketing tour path, open and stage target apartments, ensure clean, rent‑ready units and amenities. • Respond promptly to resident and prospect calls and emails each morning. • Convert incoming calls into walk‑in traffic and schedule viewing appointments. • Tour prospective residents enthusiastically, following the Weidner approach. • Facilitate the application process, review and process applications immediately, and communicate results respectfully. • Maintain traffic queues and conduct monthly competitive property shop. • Keep apartments, common areas, and amenities clean to Weidner quality standards daily. • Assist with timely lease renewals to promote resident retention.

What You Bring

Candidates must have prior customer‑service experience and be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication skills—in person, phone, email, and text—are required, as is proficiency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn Yardi, Paycom, or other software. Applicants must adhere to Weidner’s mission, vision, values, policies, and Fair Housing laws, demonstrate reliable attendance, dress professionally, and possess a valid driver’s license, vehicle, insurance and reliable transportation. A background check, voluntary drug‑testing agreement, and the ability to work occasional extended hours or at other Weidner properties are also required. • Follow the Weidner Move‑In Experience for approved applicants. • Prior customer‑service experience required. • Ability to work safely, efficiently, and in a fast‑paced environment. • Strong verbal and written communication across phone, email, text, and in‑person. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn Yardi, Paycom or similar software. • Reliable attendance, professional appearance, and adherence to dress code/uniform. • Ability to work independently or within a team, and flexibility for extended hours or other property assignments. • Valid driver’s license, vehicle, and insurance with reliable transportation. • Consent to background check and voluntary drug testing.
