About the Role
The engineering position operates under general direction, applying a broad understanding of technical principles to develop solutions and lead small‑to‑medium projects. The role may also provide guidance to interns, draftsmen, and technicians while representing the organization on complex technical issues. Core duties include applying engineering standards to resolve design conflicts, creating technical documentation, supporting operations, maintenance, testing, and regulatory activities, and coordinating project phases from research to commissioning. The engineer also mentors less‑experienced staff and participates in budgeting, estimating, and work‑order management. • Apply engineering standards to resolve complex design and material challenges. • Develop and maintain technical documentation such as designs, calculations, and reports. • Provide technical support for operations, maintenance, testing/diagnostics, and regulatory compliance. • Lead or coordinate project phases including research, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning. • Mentor and assign tasks to interns, draftsmen, technicians, and other support staff. • Perform budgeting, cost estimating, forecasting, and work‑order management for engineering projects. • Prepare bid documents and conduct technical evaluations for proposals. • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Legal, and external customers throughout project lifecycles.

All levels require an ABET‑accredited degree, preferably electrical engineering.
