About the Role

The primary objective of this position is to set up, adjust, maintain, and efficiently operate the Lincoln Robotic Welder, using computerized manufacturing technologies to lead and guide the initial phase of the fabrication process. Job responsibilities include using computerized manufacturing systems to meet production and customer requirements, performing set‑up duties on fabrication equipment and safety devices according to documentation, positioning materials and tooling, operating and adjusting equipment and controllers, and meeting performance standards to keep schedules on track. The role also requires compliance with safety procedures, ensuring products meet quality standards, inspecting work for dimensional accuracy, performing preventative maintenance, assisting with troubleshooting, reporting problems, participating in continuous improvement, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area. • Set up, adjust, and operate Lincoln Robotic Welder using computerized manufacturing technologies. • Configure equipment and safety devices according to production documentation. • Position production materials and tooling to meet print specifications. • Operate and edit controllers and programs to achieve production schedules. • Inspect finished parts for dimensional compliance with prints. • Perform preventative maintenance and assist with equipment troubleshooting. • Report unsafe conditions and adhere to all safety procedures. • Participate in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and 5S activities. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

What You Bring

Education and experience requirements include a High School Diploma or G.E.D.; 1 year of CNC manufacturing equipment experience is preferred, as is 2 + years of production work experience. Candidates should be proficient with Windows Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards, Radan, and the Digital Production Assistant (DPA). Required knowledge, skills, and abilities encompass a solid understanding of the assigned production process and safety policies, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, effective oral and written communication, ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools, and the physical capability to lift heavy gauges. A forklift license or ability to obtain one, willingness to acquire weld certification and complete robotics training, and a commitment to lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement are also essential. • High School Diploma/GED required; 1‑2 years CNC or production experience preferred. • Proficient with Windows Office, JD Edwards, Radan, and Digital Production Assistant. • Ability to read blueprints, use measuring tools, and lift heavy materials. • Forklift certification or ability to obtain one. • Willingness to obtain weld certification and complete robotics training.
