Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property Managers operate independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors. They assess customers’ storage needs, recommend solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Daily duties include inspecting storage units for inventory and availability, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and contacting customers for payment reminders or collections. • Assess customer storage needs and sell packing/moving supplies • Perform daily unit inspections to verify inventory and availability • Audit cash drawers and complete bank deposits each day • Conduct payment reminder and collection calls as needed • Lift/move items up to 35 lb; walk outdoors up to 50 % of time, climb stairs and open large doors • Clean interior areas and maintain exterior grounds and curb appeal

What You Bring

The role requires the ability to lift or move items up to 35 lb and to spend up to 50 % of the time walking around facilities, including climbing stairs and opening large doors. Managers also perform routine cleaning and maintenance of interior spaces and exterior grounds to maintain curb appeal. Candidates should have prior customer‑service sales experience in retail, restaurant, fast‑food, or similar environments, a valid driver’s license, and their own vehicle for traveling between sites (mileage reimbursement provided). • Prior experience in customer‑service sales (retail, restaurant, fast‑food, etc.) • Hold a valid driver’s license and use personal vehicle for site travel
