About the Role

The Assembler is responsible for wiring, assembling, fitting, and mounting subassemblies, components, and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment. The role includes performing assembly or wiring required for test preparation and final inspection, and using established power‑checking procedures to verify electrical and mechanical integrity. All work must meet quantity and perfect quality requirements in accordance with assigned functions. Assignments are carried out from oral or written instructions, drawings, or other manufacturing information, with materials handled according to established procedures. The assembler also performs routine maintenance on plant equipment, inspects and tests finished products for conformance with specifications and codes, and maintains job progress while communicating any problem areas or part shortages. Responsibilities extend to handling finished products for shipment, coordinating with carriers, and loading materials onto vehicles. The position requires adherence to good housekeeping and safety practices, including 5S duties, and the ability to lift 35 lb with reasonable accommodation. • Wire, assemble, fit, and mount subassemblies and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment. • Perform assembly and wiring for test preparation and final inspection. • Use power‑checking procedures and equipment to verify electrical/mechanical integrity. • Follow oral/written instructions, drawings, and manufacturing information. • Handle materials per established procedures and perform routine equipment maintenance. • Inspect and test finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and codes. • Track job progress, communicate problems or part shortages, and manage shipment logistics. • Maintain 5S housekeeping, safety standards, and lift up to 35 lb with reasonable accommodation.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with a degree in a technical discipline preferred, and at least one year of manufacturing or assembly experience, especially in electrical equipment manufacturing (panelboards/switchboards preferred). Candidates must have basic computer skills, be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, and active‑duty military candidates are exempt from geographical limitations. • Meet minimum education: high school diploma/GED; degree in a technical discipline preferred. • Possess at least 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience, preferably with panelboards/switchboards. • Demonstrate basic computer skills and ability to use standard software applications. • Be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
