About the Role
The role emphasizes a strong commitment to quality, requiring continuous improvement of all functions. You will perform quality checks, create and update manufacturing orders for fabricated items, and load production plans into machine software while handling exception messages. Additionally, you will locate fabricated material in racks, carts, or GO locations, conduct inventory counts, and complete accurate inventory transactions. Timely receipt and processing of material kitting orders to support production schedules is essential, as is strict adherence to safety and industrial hygiene standards, including proper use of PPE and safe equipment operation. You will own and lead the 5S process for the assigned warehouse area and safely operate forklifts (stand‑up and sit‑down), order pickers, automatic pallet wrappers, and pallet jacks. The position also involves driving Lean initiatives by suggesting improvements related to quality, work processes, and environmental safety. • Perform quality checks and continuously improve processes. • Create and update manufacturing orders, loading production plans into machine software. • Locate fabricated material and conduct inventory counts and transactions. • Receive and process material kitting orders to meet production schedules. • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, order pickers, pallet wrappers, and pallet jacks. • Lead 5S initiatives and recommend Lean improvements for quality, processes, and safety. • Maintain compliance with safety and industrial hygiene standards.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least 18 months of experience in manufacturing, distribution, or military settings, plus two years of forklift operation and two or more years of warehouse experience in an industrial environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and systems such as Vista, DMM, AS400, and Mapics is required. Applicants must reside within 50 miles of El Paso, TX, unless they are active‑duty military members who are exempt from this geographic restriction. • Meet experience requirements: 18+ months in manufacturing/distribution/military and 2+ years forklift operation. • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Vista, DMM, AS400, and Mapics. • Able to lift, push, pull up to 25 lb, squat, reach overhead, and operate a forklift (with or without accommodation).
