Cyber Security RMF Support

About the Role
• Support SSC by ensuring security, quality, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of RMF documentation. • Create, edit, and review RMF policy documents and System Control Traceability Matrices. • Perform vulnerability assessments using ACAS, DISA STIG, and SCAP compliance tools. • Conduct continuous monitoring, security audits, risk analysis, and mitigation for DoD information systems. • Coordinate changes with ISSM, SCA, and Wing Cybersecurity office; report incidents per AFI 17-203. • Prepare certification letters, MoAs, ATC packages, Interconnection Security Agreements, and Security Impact Assessments. • Lead security control assessor activities, oversee STIG compliance, and manage POA&Ms. • Maintain an active Secret clearance and hold a BA/BS in engineering, computer science, or a related field.

The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides cutting‑edge SE&I for the Space Force’s Space Systems Center, supporting the acquisition of secure, survivable satellite communications for our warfighters. KBR seeks technical individuals who thrive in small, collaborative teams and who use modern tools and methodologies to integrate complex space and ground communications systems. The position is onsite with minimal travel requirements and follows standard working hours. An active Secret clearance is required, and the role may be filled either by KBR or one of its subcontractor partners. • Minimum two years of experience with RMF Rev 5, NIST SP 800‑53, and CNSSI 1253 security controls. • Desired: Master’s degree in CS/Engineering, 5+ years cyber security experience, CompTIA CASP+ or CISSP, and TS/SCI clearance.
