About the Role
The Senior Payloads Analyst will support the Targets and Countermeasures program office, providing integrated technical and programmatic advice to program managers and chief engineers. This role monitors prime contractor performance, ensures compliance with program requirements, and coordinates technical activities across the program. • Serve as expert for MDA/DT Targets program, supporting design and analysis of payloads and countermeasures. • Oversee development of payload and countermeasure requirements and assess prime contractor designs. • Conduct technical reviews of design plans, reports, analyses, and procedures; provide recommendations. • Evaluate target instrumentation, including requirements, layout, testing, and integration. • Provide technical input for program reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FRB, MRB, PAR, and others. • Respond to technical information requests and coordinate Technical Interchange Meetings with MDA organizations. • Supply design data (CAD, materials, hardware) for DTTE team to support signature testing and model development. • Assist cost analysis team with technical evaluations for accurate cost estimates. • Support program scheduler to meet delivery deadlines and keep the Program Manager informed. • Communicate technical information to non‑technical stakeholders and lead teams to resolve problems.

What You Bring
• Travel up to 25% of the time. • Master's degree plus 12+ years (or Bachelor’s plus 20+ years) experience on DoD payloads or countermeasures. • U.S. citizenship and active DoD Secret security clearance required. • Experience across multiple engineering disciplines with strong oral, written, and briefing skills. • Ability to work independently and lead teams in a dynamic, time‑sensitive environment. • Knowledge of IR/RCS signatures, material properties, and ADP threat systems. • Understanding of MDA MDS flight test requirements and technical proposal development.
