About the Role
• Responsible for the successful deployment of VDC initiatives and VDC technology platform(s) / solutions on projects. • Work with project teams to establish a BIM/VDC execution strategy and provide project-specific VDC support and subject matter expertise. • Oversee project-specific VDC strategies, scope, and plans while managing the implementation of WAY's best practices for efficient VDC delivery. • Prepare sign‑off sheets. • Ensure each project utilizes the Project VDC Execution Plan and meets contractual requirements. • Provide guidance and support with contract language for BIM scopes. • Review trade partner BIM qualifications and advise the project team (GC). • Research, analyze, evaluate, and apply information to support BIM/VDC operations and corporate direction.

What You Bring

The successful candidate will possess the abilities listed below. • Applicants must have working knowledge of mechanical/plumbing systems, take direction from the lead detailer, and be eager to learn and improve. • Proficiency required in Navisworks Manage, Fabrication CADmep, AutoCAD MEP, AutoCAD, Revit (2019/2020), with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Bluebeam; field or shop experience is a plus. • Ability to work in a flat‑organization environment that requires full transparency, team collaboration, leading by influencing, and socialization of initiatives. • Minimum 2‑7+ years of construction technologies and hands‑on experience in the AEC industry driving VDC adoption on large capital projects. • Strong graphical, illustration, and documentation skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills required. • Strong presentation skills and confidence to speak in small or large groups. • Advanced level software knowledge in Autodesk packages (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) and other platforms. • Strong knowledge of contractor‑facing authoring and collaboration tools such as Revit, 3D AutoCAD MEP, Inventor, etc. • Expert in leveraging and supporting Autodesk Navisworks Manage. • Advanced knowledge of field measurement/modeling technologies. • Ability to quickly learn new software tools.
