About the Role
The Project Manager position will lead a dynamic team to design and install the Integrated Base Defense Security System (IBDSS) at Keesler Air Force Base. Candidates must reside within a three‑hour drive of the base or be willing to relocate at no cost to Parsons or the government. In this role, you will guide the team through kickoff site surveys, define project scope with customers, develop comprehensive solutions, and manage the design of an electronic security system to protect Department of War assets. You will also oversee the installation phase and ensure all contract deliverables are met throughout the project lifecycle. • Lead kickoff site survey and define scope with customers and end users. • Develop and present comprehensive solution recommendations to the Government. • Manage internal Subject Matter Experts to design an approved electronic security system. • Oversee installation phase and ensure all contract deliverables are completed. • Maintain an active Secret security clearance.

What You Bring
Parsons seeks candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field and at least eight years of relevant experience, or a high‑school diploma with twelve years of technical work. An active Secret security clearance, knowledge of Cost Point, Microsoft Project, Integrated Master Schedules, and strong expertise in electronics, network management, and intrusion detection are required. • Hold a Bachelor’s in Engineering (or related) with 8+ years experience, or HS diploma with 12+ years technical experience. • Proficient in Cost Point, Microsoft Project, Integrated Master Schedules, and Microsoft Office. • Strong technical knowledge of electronics, network management, intrusion detection systems, and force protection operations. • Desired: military experience, Lenel/Advantor/Vindicator certifications, CompTIA Sec+, Net+, PMP.
