About the Role
The engineer will be responsible for site development engineering and project management across land-development projects, delivering civil design, permitting, and client coordination. • Perform site development engineering and project management for diverse land-development projects. • Complete civil design, permitting, and use hydrology modeling, storm-drainage, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D software. • Conduct research, coordination, staff management, cost estimating, and prepare bid packages and technical specifications. • Take advantage of new-parent leave, family-building benefits, and childcare resources.

What You Bring
Kimley-Horn’s Philadelphia, PA office is looking for a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with at least two years of experience to join its Land Development team. This role is based on-site and is not eligible for remote work. Applicants should have civil engineering experience, an ABET-accredited degree, and an EIT or Engineering Intern certification, together with strong communication, technical proficiency, and teamwork abilities. • Possess 2+ years experience at a civil engineering design firm. • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university. • Have EIT or Engineering Intern certification, or be able to obtain it within 12 months. • Demonstrate proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. • Exhibit strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Show a strong sense of urgency, self‑initiative, and attention to detail. • Work independently and collaboratively in a positive team environment.
