About the Role

The specialist assists with large proposals and leads small to medium proposals from capture through interview stages, coordinating schedules, templates, compliance, and content plans while providing conceptual leadership for document design. Responsibilities include serving as lead writer/editor for resumes and past performance sections, facilitating Pink and Red team reviews, managing revisions, participating in go/no‑go and greenlight analyses, completing internal debriefs, and ensuring adherence to quality and approval processes. The role also liaises with business line, operations, technical, and business development teams to develop marketing materials and mentors entry‑level proposal staff. • Lead small to medium proposals and support large proposals from capture through interview stages. • Coordinate proposal schedules, templates, compliance, and content plans while providing document design leadership. • Serve as lead writer/editor for resumes and past performance sections. • Facilitate Pink and Red team reviews and incorporate lessons learned into proposals. • Manage proposal revisions and ensure compliance with quality and approval processes. • Participate in go/no-go and greenlight analyses and conduct internal debriefs. • Liaise with business line, operations, technical, and business development teams to develop marketing materials. • Provide guidance and mentorship to entry‑level proposal team members.

What You Bring

Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience supporting proposal activities within a marketing team, or equivalent education/experience. Preferred qualifications include a degree in Communications or Marketing, knowledge of the A/E industry and AECOM’s competitive landscape, expertise in marketing best practices, strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, collaborative tools like Teams and SharePoint, and an understanding of CRM systems (Salesforce is a plus). The candidate should demonstrate initiative, strong organizational and administrative skills, the ability to produce accurate and compelling work independently and with others, and discretion with confidential information. • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of proposal marketing experience. • Preferred: Communications/Marketing degree, A/E industry knowledge, proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint/Teams, and CRM (Salesforce a plus). • Demonstrated initiative, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
