About the Role
In this position you will model lean leadership, energising teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will champion the Hoshin Kanri strategic deployment, create plans to meet defined goals, and use lean tools to build capability across all levels while coaching cross‑functional teams on high‑impact projects. Analytical tools will be applied to identify improvement opportunities, and you will own flagship lighthouse projects that deliver measurable performance gains. • Set ambitious vision for safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people performance. • Champion Hoshin Kanri strategic deployment and develop associated plans. • Coach and mentor cross‑functional teams in applying lean tools. • Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities using analytical tools. • Own and deliver flagship lean projects that achieve performance gains. • Provide lean training and coaching to build capability at all levels. • Advance the maturity of the Rolls‑Royce Production System. • Guide business leaders in lean behaviours to engage all employees.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate brings proven experience in lean manufacturing or process improvement, backed by Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. A track record of delivering tangible improvements through lean tools, leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to influence without direct authority are essential. Strong communication, presentation skills, and the ability to operate in multinational, multicultural settings are also required. • Proven experience in lean manufacturing or process improvement. • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. • Track record of delivering tangible improvements with lean techniques. • Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to influence without direct authority and drive change. • Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels. • Experience working in multinational and multicultural environments. • Continuous learning, openness to improvement, and exposure to challenges.
