About the Role

The position involves performing design, drafting, and project‑related tasks, converting base map information into CADD drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Responsibilities include setting up project base maps, producing computer‑generated plans, profiles, and sections from sketches, and adhering to company and client CAD standards for layering and sheet layout. The incumbent will coordinate details between drawing sheets, work with various project teams, conduct field audits of drafted maps, and liaise with surveyors and sub‑consultants to resolve survey deliverables. • Design and draft water, sewer, gas, and related utility plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D. • Convert base map data and sketches into detailed CADD drawings and sheet layouts. • Set up project base maps by analyzing utility drawings, notes, and input materials. • Produce computer‑generated plans, profiles, and sections from detailed sketches. • Follow company and client CAD standards for layering, sheet layout, and drawing procedures. • Coordinate dimensions and details across multiple drawing sheets and project teams. • Perform field audits of drafted base maps to ensure completeness and accuracy. • Collaborate with surveyors and sub‑consultants to address survey deliverables.
