About the Role
Under general supervision, the shift or scheduled security worker enforces all rules, regulations, and instructions to provide absolute protective security. Duties include controlling vehicle and personnel access, registering visitors, conducting inspection tours, searching personnel and vehicles for weapons or sabotage items, checking material removal passes, and monitoring perimeter alarm systems and CCTV. • Enforce security rules and regulations to protect the facility. • Control vehicle and personnel access, register visitors, and provide escorts. • Conduct inspection tours and search personnel/vehicles for prohibited items. • Monitor perimeter intrusion alarms and CCTV, and verify material removal passes. • Complete annual training on security law, radiation protection, first aid, console operation, and firearms proficiency; maintain good health per physician.

What You Bring
Candidates must be trustworthy, U.S. citizens, at least 21 years old, and have no felony convictions. A valid New York driver’s license and eligibility for a New York State concealed‑weapon license are required. Applicants must pass annual training on law, security skills, radiation protection, first aid, security console operation, firearms proficiency, and meet NRC requirements, as well as be in good health per a physician’s assessment. • Must be U.S. citizen, 21+, no felony convictions, with a valid NY driver’s license and concealed‑weapon permit eligibility.
