What You Bring
Apprentices who demonstrate accelerated development may advance to a Level C Technician before completing the full 22‑month period. Throughout the program, participants receive a dedicated mentor, direct supervision from a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor or Manager, and hands‑on experience with preventive maintenance, tires, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Minimum qualifications require a commitment to complete the two‑year program, logical problem‑solving skills, interest in engineering, flexibility to work nights, weekends or holidays, willingness to travel to Dallas for training, and readiness to relocate nationwide after graduation while upholding Republic Services’ safety, ethics, and respect values.
