About the Role

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for managing two Class A office properties in Washington, DC in accordance with JLL standards, procedures, and the Management Agreement. The GM will achieve financial results, operating objectives, and ensure client and tenant satisfaction while working directly with owners to develop property‑specific strategic plans. Day‑to‑day duties include developing and implementing annual operating budgets and capital plans, ensuring timely and accurate monthly reporting, and analyzing financial performance to present strategic recommendations to senior leadership. The GM will also ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards, implement tenant‑satisfaction programs, oversee competitive bidding for third‑party services, and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development. • Manage two Class A office properties in Washington, DC per JLL standards and management agreement. • Drive financial results, meet operating objectives, and maintain high client and tenant satisfaction. • Create and implement annual operating budgets and capital plans with precise monthly reporting. • Analyze financial performance, produce detailed reports, and advise senior leadership. • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. • Run tenant‑satisfaction programs and hold regular tenant meetings. • Lead competitive bidding for all third‑party services, ensuring compliance with JLL standards. • Promote a culture of continuous learning, supporting team members’ career growth.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field, and a minimum of seven years of progressive leadership experience in commercial real estate or property management. Candidates must have a proven track record of P&L responsibility, strong client relationship management, excellent financial acumen, proficiency with real estate management software and Microsoft Office, and a valid real estate license or the ability to obtain one. Preferred qualifications are a real estate license and Property Manager’s license obtained within six months if not already held, professional certifications such as LEED GA, and a strong network of industry relationships with demonstrated thought leadership in real estate. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management or related field. • Possess at least 7 years of progressive leadership experience in commercial real estate or property management. • Demonstrate proven P&L management and achievement of multi‑million‑dollar financial targets. • Have proficiency in real estate management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite; valid real estate license or ability to obtain.

Benefits

The position is on‑site in Washington, DC with a salary range of $115,000‑$130,000, and an estimated total compensation of $127,000‑$147,000 per year. No visa sponsorship is provided; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
