About the Role

This is a 100 % travel role where the Tower Foreman leads daily site construction, ensures safety compliance with MasTec policies and industry standards (OSHA, TIA‑10‑48, NATE CTS, ANSI), oversees operations and quality, maintains paperwork, coordinates with customers, provides leadership and training, and performs various tower‑related tasks such as leg reinforcement, bracing swaps, plate installs, welding, and anchor modifications. • Follow MasTec Health Safety and Environmental Policies and industry standards (OSHA, TIA‑10‑48, NATE CTS, ANSI). • Ensure site safety requirements for crew. • Oversee daily operations and quality of work at assigned sites. • Maintain daily paperwork for site and crew. • Implement job instructions from leadership. • Compile and upload site‑specific closeout documentation. • Coordinate with customer representatives and maintain good relationships. • Provide leadership, guidance, and training to crew members. • Keep equipment and vehicles operational. • Validate daily timesheets for management. • Mentor less‑experienced technicians. • Perform tower leg reinforcement, bracing, and diagonal work. • Execute bracing swaps and change‑outs. • Install half‑pipe and flat plates. • Add or replace gusset plates, bolts, or hardware. • Upgrade anchor rods or bolts. • Modify foundations. • Prepare welding on transition stiffeners, half‑pipe, and anchor‑rod brackets. • Conduct elevated welding. • Perform bolt‑on modifications on horizontals or sub‑horizontal reinforcements. • Install tower extensions. • Change out guy wires and adjust tension. • Install guy pull‑off and torque arms. • Install base plate grout.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of industry experience, strong construction, rigging and safety expertise, the ability to read plans and maintain documentation, a valid driver’s license, physical fitness for climbing towers and lifting 50 lb, and certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and optionally WSA. Good communication, organization, and mentorship skills are required. • High school diploma or GED. • Minimum five years of industry experience. • Expertise in construction, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge. • Working knowledge of safety standards and regulations. • WSA certification (preferred) and other certifications (First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, Connector attachment). • Strong organizational, computer, and communication skills. • Ability to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW. • Valid driver’s license meeting company policy. • Ability to maintain FDOT log books (training provided). • Capability to lead, teach, and train proper work and safety procedures. • Ability to provide a safe work site with acceptable quality and efficiency. • Proficiency with paperwork (Excel, Word, etc.). • Physical fitness: able to climb towers, lift 50 lb, work up to 12 hours.

Benefits
