About the Role

• Perform general housekeeping functions. • Operate forklift to load/unload shipments and move inventory. • Fill, clean, package, ship, and receive meter orders. • Deliver and pick up materials as needed. • Complete receipt, shipment, and ordering documentation. • Collaborate with shop and field personnel to prioritize work and maintain records. • Participate in additional training on metering technology and automation.

What You Bring

We anticipate the need for one Electric Meter Shop Assistant in the Electric Meter Shop at the Chestnut Service Center in Minneapolis, MN. The current rate of pay for this position is $27.76 hourly (2025 rate). The position will be posted for 10 business days, February 5, 2026 through February 18, 2026. • High school diploma or GED. • Valid driver’s license. • Working knowledge of hand tools and small power tools. • High mechanical aptitude. • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds. • Basic AC/DC knowledge.
