About the Role

The role supports the Crew Chief in field surveys, using standard equipment and safety methods, operating Total Stations, Data Collectors, GPS, and related tools, handling data upload/download, and preparing job sites. The position also involves driving the survey vehicle, transporting and setting up instruments, and maintaining equipment and vehicle supplies. • Assist Crew Chief with field surveys. • Operate Total Stations, Data Collectors, GPS, and other surveying equipment. • Upload and download field data collections. • Drive the survey vehicle as needed. • Transport, set up, and maintain surveying instruments and job site equipment. • Use appropriate safety equipment and follow safety policies and SOPs. • Maintain and stock survey vehicle supplies and equipment.

What You Bring

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 0-2 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and basic organizational, math, and surveying knowledge. They must be able to work safely, communicate in English, and pass pre‑employment drug screening with ongoing random testing. • High School diploma or GED. • 0–2 years of relevant experience. • Valid driver’s license (may be required). • Basic organizational skills and ability to prioritize. • Intermediate knowledge of surveying practices and equipment. • Ability to operate surveying equipment effectively. • Team‑oriented with strong collaboration skills. • Basic math, geometry, and trigonometry knowledge. • Ability to travel and drive for long periods occasionally. • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English. • Pass pre‑employment drug screen and participate in random testing.
