About the Role

• Operate face drill and/or roof bolter in underground hard‑rock mine. • Operate wheel loader in confined spaces to muck headings and load haul trucks. • Run scaler or excavator with scaler attachment to scale rock from mine walls. • Assist with explosives handling and blasting process. • Perform general quarry duties and other assigned tasks. • Conduct daily pre‑ and post‑equipment inspections with proper documentation. • Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA/environmental safety regulations. • Maintain at least one year of underground mining equipment experience.

What You Bring

The company is seeking an Underground Miner / Equipment Operator for its Whites Creek Quarry in Nashville, TN. The role requires experience operating mining equipment in an underground hard‑rock environment and an uncompromising focus on safety. Duties may include operating equipment, assisting with the blasting process, and maintaining ventilation and other safety items in the mine. Candidates must have at least one year of experience operating underground mining equipment such as a face drill, scaler, roof bolter, or loader. A valid Tennessee Explosive Handlers Card or the ability to obtain one is required, along with the ability to work in confined spaces, tolerate loud noises and varied weather, be self‑motivated, and pass a pre‑employment drug screen. • Hold or obtain a valid TN Explosive Handlers Card or blasting permit. • Demonstrate precision operation of equipment in confined spaces. • Adapt quickly to new tasks and work overtime or weekends when required. • Work safely in all weather conditions and tolerate loud noise environments. • Self‑motivated with ability to work independently without close supervision. • Pass pre‑employment drug screening.

This full‑time, day‑shift position starts at $23.00 per hour.
