About the Role
The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician joins the Operations Maintenance Team to repair and maintain material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging and distribution equipment across our facilities. The role requires flexible scheduling, collaboration with all areas of the Operations facility, and mentoring junior technicians while maintaining positive working relationships throughout the organization. The position demands physical tasks such as reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, using an aerial lift, and lifting up to 50 lb, often while wearing required PPE, and involves moving between departments covering 6–12 miles daily in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures. • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment (belts, motors, sensors, relays). • Create, assign, and close work orders, documenting labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. • Track and manage department inventory of maintenance parts. • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work order management. • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. • Apply electrical and electronic principles to equipment repairs.

What You Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems. • 2+ years experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. • 1+ year experience using CMMS and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. • Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts. • Associate’s degree or higher in a mechanical or electrical field (preferred). • Knowledge of material handling equipment safety standards and OEM guidelines (preferred). • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance (preferred). • Ability to troubleshoot basic input/output functions (preferred).
