IES Residential is seeking a detail‑oriented Starts Coordinator to join its HVAC/Plumbing team in Austin, TX. The coordinator will oversee the initiation phase of HVAC and plumbing projects, ensuring accurate pricing and scheduling. The ideal candidate is organized, able to prioritize tasks, work independently, and maintain a professional, friendly demeanor. A high school diploma or GED is required, and no formal education beyond that is mandated. Candidates should have 0‑2 years of experience, with a preference for at least one year in scheduling, coordination, construction, or a related field. Experience in HVAC, plumbing, homebuilding, or similar environments is strongly preferred. Success in this role depends on strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and effective time‑management skills. Candidates must communicate clearly both in writing and verbally, and be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and scheduling software. Physical requirements include extended sitting for computer work, frequent typing, occasional standing or walking, and the ability to lift 15‑25 pounds. • High school diploma or GED required. • 1+ year of experience in scheduling, coordination, construction, or related role preferred. • Experience in HVAC, plumbing, homebuilding, or construction environments strongly preferred. • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and scheduling software.
