About the Role

The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for managing and supervising the planning, layout, installation, testing, and repair of wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, motors, equipment, and control systems in accordance with plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. The role includes coordinating foremen and leadmen, motivating crews to work safely, correctly, and efficiently, and supervising other crafts as needed. A thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code and all required licenses for the work jurisdiction are mandatory. • Maintain positive working relationships with client & superintendent. • Maintain a safe and clean work environment and assure high quality work. • Conduct/participate in safety, quality, production, and planning meetings. • Ensure foreman and crew evaluations/performance agreements are conducted. • Champion and promote a Continuous Improvement culture. • Verify accuracy of timesheets, quantity and productivity reports. • Maintain and monitor 6‑ and 1‑week schedules and coordinate with master schedule. • Adhere to and support company policies, procedures, and “The Sundt Way.” • Provide coaching and mentoring for crew members. • Set standards of excellence in leadership, safety, quality and productivity. • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds. • Lift, push or pull objects up to 50 lb occasionally; frequent hand use.

What You Bring

The job requires up to 12‑hour shifts of hard physical work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions. Workers must climb and balance on steel or wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds, and occasionally lift or move objects weighing up to 50 lb while using their hands frequently. • Minimum five years (level I) and six plus years (level II) experience in relevant construction market with in‑depth trade knowledge. • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures; wear required PPE. • Interact frequently with people; use telephone, computer, email on limited basis. • Safety‑Sensitive designation due to tasks that could affect safety and health.
