About the Role
The role involves continually developing qualified maintenance, service, and retrofit prospects to ensure a consistent flow of business, while maintaining goodwill with current sources and accounts through periodic callbacks and client engagement. The account manager prepares itineraries, makes calls, and follows up on sales leads within the assigned market, soliciting information from building owners, developers, and maintenance personnel about project scope, budget limits, qualification methods, bid processes, and competition. They organize technical data, brochures, and service manuals, assist in preparing bid proposals, and deliver sales presentations to qualify the company for select bid lists or exclusive maintenance contracts. Additionally, they assist in collecting delinquent accounts, resolve customer complaints, and take corrective action within their authority. • Develop and qualify maintenance, service, and retrofit prospects to maintain steady business flow. • Maintain goodwill with existing accounts through periodic callbacks and client interaction. • Prepare itineraries, make calls, and follow up on sales leads within the assigned territory. • Gather project information from owners, developers, and maintenance personnel regarding scope, budget, and competition. • Organize technical data, brochures, and service manuals; assist in bid proposal preparation. • Deliver sales presentations to qualify the company for bid lists or exclusive maintenance contracts. • Assist in collecting delinquent accounts and resolve customer complaints within authority.
