About the Role
The Construction Manager oversees all phases of utility construction for telecom projects, leading crews to deliver high‑quality, safe work. This role coordinates schedules, manages budgets, ensures compliance with drawings and specifications, and supervises subcontractors and equipment. The manager also participates in hiring, meetings, estimating, bidding, and contract negotiations. • Oversee all phases of utility construction for telecom projects, ensuring quality and safety • Direct multiple crews, schedule work, and monitor job site performance • Review progress schedules against deadlines and manage projects to completion on time and within budget • Prepare and interpret drawings, blueprints, contracts, and specifications; resolve blueprint issues • Supervise subcontractors, inspect work, and handle related billing • Participate in hiring, maintain employment paperwork, and conduct staff meetings • Engage in estimating, bidding, contract negotiations, and change order preparation • Provide high‑level customer service for escalated issues • Ensure a safe work environment and hold crews accountable for safety practices

What You Bring
Ideal candidates prioritize safety, hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management, and have 3‑5 years of telecom construction experience, including coax and fiber splicing, directional drilling, and map reading. Strong problem‑solving, site‑management, and Microsoft Office skills are required, along with the ability to maintain client and supplier relationships. • Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) and adapt to custom software • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field • 3‑5 years managing telecom construction with knowledge of coax splicing, fiber splicing, directional drilling, and map reading • Proven track record of delivering high‑quality work and solving complex on‑site problems • Experience supervising site operations and maintaining client and supplier relationships • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and hands‑on work approach
