About the Role
• Complete site visits within the assigned market. • Take legible field notes for construction drawings (aerial, buried, underground, building). • Analyze work site and design requests to determine scope of work. • Deliver projects on time while ensuring quality. • Communicate concerns or updates with the OSP Designer. • Represent Byers and the client professionally with internal and external customers. • Follow all company safety practices and policies.

What You Bring
The position requires a schedule that aligns with customer hours and the ability to travel throughout the Lexington, KY area for outdoor site visits, often in varying weather conditions. Employees must dress appropriately, follow safety standards, and have reliable transportation for remote work. • Understanding of telecom, fiber, and outside plant (preferred). • Experience with utilities, cabling, or construction. • Strong communication skills for daily team interaction. • Excellent penmanship for hand‑drawn field notes. • High school diploma; technical school or community college courses preferred. • Authorized to work in the U.S. and pass pre‑employment screening (including clean driving record). • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Willingness to train, adapt to industry trends, and pursue continued education.
