About the Role

Key responsibilities cover the full project lifecycle, from pre‑contract cost estimating, feasibility studies and cost planning, through procurement, tendering, contract administration and variation management, to final account settlement. The role also requires accurate financial reporting, cost risk analysis, value engineering, change‑control participation, and regular client and consultant liaison, while providing guidance to junior staff. • Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies, and cost plans. • Lead procurement and tendering, including pre‑qualification and tender analysis. • Manage contract administration, variations, and final account settlements. • Provide timely financial reporting, valuations, and cost risk analysis. • Interface with clients and consultants throughout the project lifecycle. • Support change control and value engineering initiatives. • Mentor and develop junior team members. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously within £10‑£50 million budgets.

What You Bring

Candidates should have a proven track record in cost management or quantity surveying, preferably with RICS or equivalent professional qualification, and hold a degree or HNC level education. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently is essential.
