The Programme Manager will be responsible for overseeing contract execution, managing budgets and forecasts, and ensuring efficient project and maintenance delivery. They will also drive continuous improvement, monitor safety, quality and financial KPIs, and align programme outcomes with business objectives while managing risk and compliance. • Lead execution of long‑term electrical contracts, ensuring scope, schedule and deliverables are met. • Manage budgets, forecasts and reporting while identifying cost‑saving opportunities. • Oversee project and maintenance activities, driving continuous improvement and efficiency. • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships as the primary programme contact. • Monitor safety, quality, financial and delivery KPIs to ensure high performance. • Align programme delivery with business goals and identify growth opportunities. • Manage risks and ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental and quality standards. • Lead multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites, fostering collaboration and excellence.

What You Bring
Ventia is seeking a dynamic and experienced Programme Manager to lead the delivery of multiple long‑term electrical contracts within our ENR North business. This high‑impact role blends strategic leadership, operational oversight, and stakeholder engagement to ensure programmes meet contractual, financial, and quality expectations. We are looking for a proven leader with deep experience in electrical infrastructure and contract management. The ideal candidate holds relevant certifications, licenses, and possesses strong communication, adaptability, and stakeholder engagement skills. • Hold a Project Management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2. • Possess an electrical registration or licence. • Completed commercial or contract management training (e.g., NEC, NZS3910). • Demonstrated experience managing complex electrical contracts or infrastructure programmes. • Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks and ISO standards. • Proficient with programme planning tools like MS Project or Primavera. • Excellent communication, adaptability and stakeholder engagement skills.
