About the Role
The on‑site Project Leader role, based in Casper, WY, oversees control‑systems projects from planning through completion. Under general direction, the leader coordinates hardware design, system programming, installation, commissioning, and project closeout while balancing customer satisfaction with financial outcomes. Key duties include managing project budgets, billings, and collections, pursuing change orders, and maintaining clear communication with clients throughout each phase. The leader also directs subcontractors and technical staff, ensures compliance with legal and safety standards, and provides warranty support. • Plan, execute, and complete control‑systems projects, covering hardware design, programming, installation coordination, commissioning, and closeout. • Manage project financials, including costs, billings, collections, and actively pursue change orders to sustain profitability. • Coordinate communication with customers throughout all project phases and ensure proper warranty execution. • Direct subcontractors, electricians, technicians, and designers while enforcing safety and regulatory compliance. • Oversee material procurement, vendor pricing, subcontractor payments, and delivery schedules. • Provide technical training to owners/operators, deliver as‑built documentation, and cultivate long‑term client and contractor relationships.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a technical associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) and have at least two years of field experience in HVAC control system design and commissioning. Strong communication skills, independent work capability, and solid computer proficiency are required, with preferred knowledge of project accounting and costing principles. • Technical Associate’s Degree (or 4 years equivalent HVAC experience) and at least 2 years field experience. • Hands‑on experience designing and commissioning digital HVAC control systems. • Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and work independently. • Proficiency with PC applications and knowledge of control theory and HVAC systems. • Preferred: understanding of project accounting, costing principles, and contracting.
