About the Role

Are you passionate about building strong customer relationships and driving growth? As a Regional Sales Manager you will lead growth opportunities across the selling cycle, using value‑selling and PROLaunch tools to create capture strategies. The focus will be on OEM, industrial, and commercial markets supporting the Industrial Control Division’s Southeast US growth. You will build organizational capabilities across regional sales and product‑line teams, ensure internal and external sales tools are deployed to target customers, and lead scheduled conference calls that share industry best practices. Mentoring local Sales Engineers will be a key part of maintaining consistent strategy and messaging. This leadership role serves as the hub for industry information across the region. Developing executive‑level relationships with target and growth accounts, you will drive synergy between locations and work with the North American sales team to grow profitable business through customer and channel development. You will define regional growth initiatives based on market share, key customers, competitors and emerging technologies, coordinating input from global operations, finance, supply chain, and other functions. Collaboration with Product Managers will help build business cases for new products, services and solutions. You will lead the sales effort from opportunity identification through pursuit and closure, providing visibility of the regional pipeline and reporting status results. Negotiations will cover master agreements, pricing, service levels and win/loss analysis. Customer feedback will be captured and relayed to product and service leaders to inform future development and quality improvements. • Lead growth opportunities through the selling cycle using value‑selling and PROLaunch tools. • Build regional sales and product‑line capabilities to drive organic growth. • Deploy internal and external sales tools to target industry customers and host conference calls. • Mentor local Sales Engineers to ensure consistent strategy and messaging. • Develop executive‑level relationships with target and growth accounts and foster inter‑location synergy. • Identify, maintain, and expand profitable business via customer relationships and channel development. • Define regional growth initiatives based on market share, key customers, competitors and emerging technologies. • Coordinate strategic issues across supply chain, finance, HR, engineering and other support functions. • Partner with Product Managers to create business cases for new products, services and solutions. • Lead sales efforts from opportunity identification through pursuit and closure across products, systems and services. • Provide visibility of regional opportunity pipeline and deliver required status reporting. • Negotiate master agreements, pricing, service‑level agreements and conduct win/loss reporting. • Capture and deliver Voice of Customer feedback to product and service leaders.

What You Bring

The position requires at least an associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred), seven years of sales experience with five years in the electrical, industrial or automation sector, and a valid unrestricted driver’s license. Candidates must reside in the specified Southeast region (military exemptions apply) and be a U.S. person for export‑controlled information. No relocation benefit is offered. Additional qualifications include experience with distribution channels, industrial controls, global work, direct selling, strong analytical and business acumen, and the ability to influence decision‑makers at all levels. Success in a matrixed, virtual, cross‑cultural environment is essential. • Hold an associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. • Minimum 7 years sales experience, including 5 years in electrical, industrial or automation industry. • Possess a valid, unrestricted driver’s license; no relocation assistance provided. • Reside in the designated Southeast region (military exemptions apply) and be a U.S. person for export‑controlled information. • Experience with distribution channels, industrial controls, global work and direct selling. • Strong analytical, business‑acumen and ability to influence decision‑makers at all levels. • Technical/product knowledge, marketing concepts and expertise in proposal and pricing negotiations. • Ability to navigate complex customer issues and thrive in a global matrixed organization.
