About the Role

The Project Quality Management role at Sundt is responsible for establishing and maintaining the company's quality management program, ensuring all work complies with contract documents and specifications. The position involves coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and government officials, conducting inspections, reviewing submittals, and preparing quality plans for specialized projects. • Ensure work complies with approved submittals and contract documents. • Correct rework items promptly. • Support company strategic planning initiatives. • Conduct internal quality and IOR inspections. • Review and approve submittals for subcontract compliance. • Develop quality management plans for specialized projects. • Organize preparatory meetings with suppliers, subcontractors, supervision, and government. • Lead pre‑installation conferences. • Supervise testing agencies and maintain ASTM‑compliant records. • Verify materials meet contract‑specific requirements. • Use telephone, computer, and email for limited communication. • Interact regularly with coworkers and external vendors throughout the shift.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least five years of experience as a foreman, superintendent, or construction manager, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a quality management certification. The job requires the ability to wear personal protective equipment, perform frequent lifting, climbing, and other physical tasks, and adhere to all safety standards, as it is classified as Safety‑Sensitive. • 5+ years experience as foreman, superintendent, or construction manager. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. • Hold a Quality Management certification. • Wear required PPE (steel‑toed shoes, hard hat, etc.) and perform frequent lifting, carrying, and handling of objects. • Frequently reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, bend, and climb stairs or ladders.
