About the Role
Core duties include leading crews that perform painting, structural repairs, masonry, woodwork, and furnishings maintenance, as well as ground maintenance such as snow removal. The Lead requisitions tools and supplies, inspects completed work for compliance, enforces safety regulations, adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules, and resolves work‑related problems. They also maintain time and production records, coordinate with other supervisors, and ensure the department follows its Operating Plan. The position may involve direct supervision of Building Maintenance staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Supervisory tasks include motivating workers, tracking performance, and communicating company policies. • Lead crews in painting, structural repairs, masonry, woodwork, and furnishings maintenance. • Supervise ground maintenance and snow removal using Cat Skid Steer, Honda snowblowers, and safe shoveling techniques. • Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies; inspect completed work for compliance. • Enforce safety regulations and interpret company policies for staff. • Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and suggest efficiency improvements. • Analyze and resolve work problems; motivate workers to achieve goals. • Maintain time and production records; coordinate with other supervisors. • Ensure the Building Maintenance department follows its Operating Plan.

What You Bring
Candidates must be at least 25 years old, possess strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, and be able to work in a fast‑paced environment. Desired qualifications include intermediate skiing or snowboarding ability, experience operating over‑the‑snow vehicles and heavy equipment, and a valid Class C driver’s license. A Bachelor’s degree or 1‑2 years of relevant experience is preferred, along with prior ski‑resort or facility‑maintenance experience. The role demands regular standing, walking, climbing, lifting 50 lb (occasionally 100 lb), and the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, including snow‑removal equipment. Employees must be literate in English and able to read, write, and present basic information. • Minimum age 25; excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work accurately and courteously in a fast‑paced environment. • Intermediate skiing or snowboarding ability (desired). • Experience operating over‑the‑snow vehicles and heavy equipment (desired). • Valid Class C driver’s license meeting insurance standards. • Bachelor’s degree or 1‑2 years related experience, or equivalent education‑experience mix. • Prior ski‑resort or hospitality experience and facility‑maintenance background (preferred). • Homewood season pass for employee and for spouse/dependents.
