About the Role
The Gate Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all Gate In and Gate Out activities to ensure smooth, uninterrupted flow of traffic and minimal truck turnaround times. This includes managing import, export, and allotment documentation as needed, and supervising weighbridge operations while ensuring calibration compliance with statutory and operational standards. The role involves planning and managing staffing for gate and weighbridge operators, providing training, upskilling, and ensuring shift coverage. Regular toolbox meetings are conducted to address safety, process adherence, and operational updates, and performance review meetings with vendors are held to assess service quality and compliance. The manager resolves gate‑related operational queries and exceptions promptly, maintains accurate records of seal mismatches, container damage, and scanning discrepancies, and ensures adherence to SOPs, safety norms, and overall operational compliance. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to boost gate efficiency and service levels is also a key focus. • Supervise Gate In/Gate Out activities to maintain uninterrupted operations • Minimize truck turnaround time and prevent gate traffic congestion • Oversee import, export, and allotment documentation as required • Manage weighbridge operations and ensure calibration compliance • Plan, staff, train, and upskill gate and weighbridge operators across shifts • Conduct regular toolbox meetings on safety and process adherence • Lead vendor performance review meetings to evaluate service quality • Resolve gate‑related operational queries and exceptions promptly • Maintain accurate records of seal mismatches, container damage, and scanning discrepancies • Enforce SOPs, safety norms, and operational compliance at all times • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance gate efficiency and service levels • Communicate effectively and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors • Apply working knowledge of compliance, documentation accuracy, and operational controls

What You Bring
