About the Role
The role is a senior manager overseeing multiple front‑line managers in the field of Environmental Health. Responsibilities include ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance, leading a portfolio of projects, and managing both key and transactional client relationships. The manager will develop team capabilities using the organization’s development framework, provide coaching and informal training, act as a subject‑matter expert, and contribute to communities of practice to drive innovative solutions and climate adaptation strategies. • Monitor and improve health, safety, and environment (HSE) performance against KPIs and compliance requirements. • Lead a portfolio of projects, providing regular updates to senior leadership. • Manage key client relationships and oversee transactional client accounts. • Identify and address team development needs using the organization’s development framework. • Provide informal training and coaching to build expertise across the organization. • Serve as subject‑matter expert on technology, policy, regulation, or operational management and maintain relevant accreditations. • Participate in and contribute to communities of practice to drive innovative solutions. • Document “as‑is” and “to‑be” processes and define required changes for capability migration. • Analyse client issues through research and interviews to design tailored solutions. • Oversee environmental risk management to minimize operational impact. • Evaluate complex solutions against criteria to meet business needs. • Coordinate elements of environmental impact assessments under senior guidance. • Guide climate adaptation strategy development for large‑scale projects. • Prepare and submit proposals, bids, and tenders meeting all deadlines and documentation requirements. • Apply advanced skills in safety monitoring, sustainable environmental management, hazard mitigation, climate analysis, data analysis, reporting, and solution presentation.
